“Clear Your Debts 2010” Promotion
1. Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. The competition commences on Monday 24th May, 2010 at 00:01am (AEST) and concludes on Sunday 20th June, 2010 at 23:59pm (AEST). To be eligible for entry, FoodWorks customers must spend $20 or more (excluding purchases of tobacco products) in the one transaction at any participating FoodWorks store. With every $20 spend you will receive a promotional entry coupon featuring a unique 7 digit code. Customers must then, during the promotional period submit their entry via one of the following entry mechanics: A. Website – go to www.foodworks.com.au, complete entry form that must include entrant’s full name, age, phone number, FoodWorks store name and their unique 7 digit code. B. Mail – complete your details on the entry coupon and mail to: “FoodWorks Clear Your Debts” Promotion, PO Box 686, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207. C. SMS - send a text message to 19911001, message must include entrant’s full name, age, FoodWorks store name and their unique 7 digit code. Maximum SMS entry cost is 55¢ (including GST). All entries must include a separate unique 7 digit code. Mail entries to contain 1 entry per envelope. All Website and SMS entries will be downloaded into hard copies and placed in the manual draw.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to request that winners provide proof of purchase in the form of their receipt and in the case of SMS and Website entries their entry coupon. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
5. The prize draw will take place at SAM Sales & Marketing, 272 Bay Street, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207 on Wednesday 30th June, 2010 at 2.00pm.
6. The winners will be notified by telephone and will also be sent a letter advising them of their prize. Winners’ details will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Wednesday 7th July, 2010.
7. Major Prize: The first valid entry drawn from all entries will win a $10,000 Cheque payment. The next 10 valid entries drawn will each win a $1,000 FoodWorks Grocery Voucher. All Vouchers are subject to their own terms and conditions. Total prize pool is valued at $20,000. Vouchers are not transferable and must be used at the store of issue.
8. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
9. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit. The promoter also accepts no responsibility for the manner in which the $10,000 prize is spent or invested.
10. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition including any omission, interruption,
deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line of telephone, mobile satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
11. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
12. If required an unclaimed prize draw will take place at SAM Sales & Marketing, 272 Bay Street, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207 on Wednesday 13th October, 2010 at 2.00pm (AEST) and winners will have their details published in the Public Notices section of The Australian Newspaper on 20th October, 2010.
13. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result.
14. All entries become the property of Promoter and may be used for promotional purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. A request to access, update or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter at the address set out below.
15. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. The Major Prize winner agrees that during the period of involvement in any interviews, recordings or photo shoots, the winner will follow the reasonable directions of the representatives of the Promoter (or its agencies).
